About the survey: Boise Young Professionals (BYP) is pleased to be participating in the YP Global Impact Survey. This 40-question survey takes our city’s pulse and measures BYP’s impact and combines it with the world’s 20-40 year olds…and the young at heart.
The survey takes about 15 minutes to complete and is being administered by Next Generation Consulting, an independent third party market research firm who specializes in helping communities and companies engage the next generation.

At the end of the survey, you have the opportunity to register your email address for an iPod drawing. Your responses are anonymous and the overall survey results will be shared with the Boise Metro Chamber of Commerce, the City of Boise, and other chambers and cities in the region. BYP will release the results at the Mayor Bieter “Unplugged” event on Wednesday, May 28 at the Basque Center in Boise, Idaho.

BYP is an organization of 800+ members from more than 400 different companies!
If you are over 21 years of age and feel young at heart, then listen up. On October 24, 2006 the Boise Metro Chamber of Commerce launched a new program called Boise Young Professionals (BYP), which targets the young, talented, future workforce of the surrounding Boise area. BYP was created to be an inclusive group designed to attract new and retain existing young talent in the region.
So who are these “young professionals?” BYP is mainly comprised of the 21-40 year old population, but is open to any “young thinking” or “young-at-heart” professional. BYP is a collection of entrepreneurs, non-profit workers, bankers, attorneys, engineers, artists, and just about any profession in the surrounding Boise community. In the first year of operation BYP has grown to an organization of over 800 members that represent more than 400 different companies.
The goal of BYP is to “connect. empower. engage.” young professionals by providing professional and leadership development, community and civic involvement, and social opportunities in the area.
BYP continues to grow in membership each day and new events and opportunities are planned on a regular basis. Over 75+ volunteers make up the Leadership Team and six “work-teams” for BYP, which plan and design our events and happenings.
