Applicants are graded by a panel of community member judges representing different industries and age groups. Winners are announced at the BYP Annual Gala each fall.

Young Professional of the Year-This award is presented to a young professional who has emerged as a business leader, demonstrated excellence, creativity and initiative in their career and has made a positive impact in the workplace.

Young Entrepreneur of the Year-This award is presented to a young professional whose entrepreneurial vision, innovation, courage and leadership in creating a successful business has made a positive impact on their community.

Young Citizen of the Year– This award is presented to a young professional whose extraordinary civic engagement, volunteerism and public service has benefited their community.

Young Leader of the Year-This award is presented to a young professional who has demonstrated initiative, taken on leadership roles in their community and acted as role model to those around them.

Best Next Generation Workplace– This award is presented to an Idaho business or organization that demonstrates a commitment to attracting, retaining and developing the young, professional workforce.
